Assistant/Deputy Process Manager – Seed Production

Role Overview

• You schedule team work in consultation with the Process Manager and the first deputy, based on volumes and the needs of ordering parties.
• You recruit the necessary seasonal resources (temporary workers, seasonal staff).
• You assist the Process Manager with daily team management and act as their deputy in their absence.
• You liaise with ordering parties and with support teams based in Germany.
• You provide on-the-job training for operators and ensure machines are correctly adjusted and used.
• You write and update production procedures.
• You ensure product conformity and compliance with quality standards.
• You ensure strict adherence to safety rules.

Requirements

• You hold a BTS or equivalent, ideally with initial experience in seed production or in an industrial environment.
• You have basic knowledge of English to communicate with German ordering parties.
• You are comfortable with computers and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• You have strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a team and have basic management experience.
• You appreciate technical processes and are comfortable with basic mechanics (simple adjustments, first-line maintenance).
• You accept working in an environment that uses phytosanitary products (internal training provided).
