About this role
Role Overview
- Responsible for recruiting and launching our next generation of Marketplace sellers
- Work closely with category seller growth teams to assess market opportunities and competitive trends
- Develop acquisition strategies to attract new accounts, expand assortment and increase inventory
- Manage the business development lifecycle from sourcing to transactability
- Ensure new sellers are fully equipped for immediate success
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful sales/business development experience, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace or retail tech
- 3-4 years’ experience in Channel Partnerships, Business Management, Product Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area
- E-commerce experience required
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Experience working with eCommerce used and refurbished sellers is a plus
