ILS Supply Support Specialist

Role Overview

• Acts as the primary integrator between Supply Support, Life Cycle Material Managers (LCMMs), and Engineering departments.
• Responsible for identifying and resolving part changes within the Technical Data Package (TDP).
• Manages the full lifecycle of Document Change Requests (DCRs) via a JIRA board.
• Ensures total data alignment across internal and government systems.
• Conducts deep-dive audits of the TDP to ensure National Stock Numbers (NSN), part numbers, and vendor references are current.
• Performs hands-on updates to technical documentation to reflect the as-supported configuration of the fleet.
• Resolves "technical friction" where engineering drawings may conflict with the data held in procurement or cataloguing systems.
• Manages and maintains a dedicated JIRA board to track the status of all technical changes.
• Ensures that DCRs are moved from the identification phase through to approval and implementation.
• Identifies bottlenecks in the change process and acts as a problem solver to move stalled requests forward.
• Regularly reconciles data between Maximo and DRMIS.

Requirements

• Proven experience using both Maximo and DRMIS (or CGCS/CGCM) is mandatory.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, and complex data reconciliation).
• Demonstrated experience managing workflows and tasks within JIRA.
• 3–5 years in ILS, Supply Support, or Technical Data Management within a defence or aerospace environment.
• The candidate must be a self-motivated problem solver capable of investigating complex data discrepancies independently.
• A minimum 1-year post-secondary diploma in Supply Chain, Information Management, or a related technical field.
