About this role
Role Overview
Manage customer enquiries, produce accurate and timely quotations
Process orders
Support continuous improvement across sales operations
Identify and engage potential new clients through targeted outreach
Network and collaborate with the marketing team to deliver growth strategies
Drive commercial success by improving enquiry‑to‑order conversion rates
Generate new business revenue
Create compelling business cases for SGS services
Maintain accurate reporting and documentation in Salesforce
Prepare business plans and progress updates
Conduct market research and develop strong client relationships
Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic planning and delivery
Requirements
Sales qualification, or time served to demonstrate experience
Full clean driving licence for use in the UK
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific, technical, engineering discipline (desirable)
Customer Service qualification such as NVQ, Practitioner, Institute of Customer Service (desirable)
