Director, Business Development

Role Overview

• Contribute to the development and refinement of go-to-market strategy
• Identify, initiate, and develop new business opportunities
• Utilize solution-selling techniques to position offerings
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitor activity
• Utilize Salesforce.com as the primary CRM
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships
• Lead contract negotiations aligned with company guidelines
• Support the transition of new clients to implementation teams
• Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline performance
• Conduct market research and prospecting activities

Requirements

• 7+ years of sales and business development experience
• Demonstrated experience developing innovative business models
• Proven ability to build and manage a strong sales pipeline
• Experience selling to senior executives and C-suite
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions
• Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel as needed
