The Business Development Agent (BDA) is responsible for creating, cultivating, and maintaining new business opportunities.
Use a variety of methods including networking, cold calling, and social media to connect with referral partners and clients.
Build and carry out strategic initiatives meant to bring new clients to the Bank.
Meet with perspective new clients within the industry including Real Estate Agents, Financial Planners, Attorneys, Title Agents, Insurance Providers, Banks/Credit Unions, Property Managers, Builders, Human Resource Departments, and Relocation Companies.
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
Stay abreast of industry changes.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
Requirements
High School diploma required
Experience working in the real estate and mortgage industry
Appropriate state licenses, if required
Enjoys meeting new people and building relationships
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Personable and able to display high levels of customer service
Organized and willing to follow a proven system
Self-Motivated and shows initiative
Driven by results and metrics
This position doesn’t require a Mortgage Loan Officer License.
