Identifies Canadian market opportunities by attaining knowledge of the industry, and customer needs across all channels through direct interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement annual marketing, advertising, and communications plans to support sales goals.
Works closely with IBP/CGC Sales, Marketing Communications, outside agencies, and Customer Service to maintain, develop and launch effective communications and sampling programs for new and existing products.
Continuously evaluate and optimize product marketing strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Coordinates the preparation and distribution of pricing documents for assigned products in Canada.
Maintains technical proficiency and acts as the primary source of marketing information for IBP Sales and Management within the scope of product responsibilities.
Support the creation of product marketing materials, including sales collateral, presentations, and web content.
Analyze and report on product marketing performance metrics, including sales, customer engagement, and ROI.
Oversee the creation of technical sheets, product catalogs, case studies, and installation guides.
Analyze industry trends and market performance to inform pricing and product strategy.
Requirements
Minimum three to five (3-5) years of sales experience, product management experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree required, business administration or marketing is preferred.
Self-starter with very strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Building materials industry knowledge preferred.
Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Leadership skills to direct teams and manage multiple projects.
Understands budgets and other financial data, i.e. income statements, mark-up vs. margin, product costing and their impact.
Active and knowledgeable user of Salesforce and computer proficiency required in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Other industry related computer skills are a plus.
Team player and good listener. Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America.
