About this role
Role Overview
Lead, coach, and develop an outside sales team to achieve revenue, profitability, and performance targets.
Strengthen and expand relationships with key customers, prospects, and industry partners.
Guide the team in understanding customer needs and delivering value-based product and service solutions.
Oversee account analysis, identify opportunities for revenue growth, and implement strategic sales initiatives.
Ensure proactive prospecting and balanced sales coverage across all assigned accounts.
Support the team in effectively presenting Majestic’s products, services, and value proposition.
Ensure accurate documentation of customer activity and account information in company systems.
Maintain ongoing customer communication, ensuring satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
Oversee contract administration and adherence to pricing, sales processes, and operational guidelines.
Apply performance management practices to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
Participate in sales meetings, customer visits, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
Collaborate with internal partners to support customer needs and sales execution.
Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least ten (10) years of industrial or metal industry sales experience, with at least five (5) years in a sales leadership role
Experience with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications.
Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of coaching and developing sales professionals.
Ability to lead and motivate remote teams through effective virtual supervision.
Demonstrated success achieving sales goals in competitive markets.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and closing skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
Resilient and solutions-focused, able to navigate challenges and maintain momentum.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, make sound judgments, and work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.
