Role Overview
- Process and review financial transactions from multiple areas within Allstate to ensure accurate and compliant accounting treatment
- Learn and apply compliance requirements related to accounting and payment processes
- Perform account reconciliations by balancing general ledger and subsidiary accounts and researching outstanding items
- Assist with researching discrepancies and communicating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s degree program at a community college or trade school
- Basic Excel experience
- Interest in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping as a career path
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (through coursework or training)
