Manage and grow assigned customer accounts through inside-sales engagement
Support Area Sales Managers by progressing opportunities and following up leads
Identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and analysis
Apply qualification, objection handling, value-based selling and closing disciplines
Maintain accurate CRM records using Salesforce
Lead and coach Inside Sales team members where applicable
Support onboarding, training and succession planning
Foster a high-engagement, inclusive team culture
Own revenue, margin and KPI outcomes
Drive pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy
Partner with Marketing, Category and Supplier teams
Ensure pricing governance and deal quality
Create and maintain documented sales processes and SOPs
Ensure CRM integrity and reporting accuracy
Drive efficiency through standardisation and automation
Deliver a best-in-class customer experience
Act as escalation point for complex issues
Balance hands-on selling with leadership responsibilities
Requirements
Proven sales/customer service experience in a similar position, ideally from B2B product distribution background (ideally smart building, AV, or lighting solutions)
A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
Proven professional experience in generating & closing sales opportunities
An ability to influence across internal teams
Strong inter-personal skills
Strong experience in decision making, determined and result driven mindset, ability to quickly resolve issues
