Commercial Escrow Officer

Role Overview

• Coordinates commercial real estate closings on single and multiple property deals.
• Reviews/Evaluates commercial title search documentation, and research and assist resolving all title issues and discrepancies.
• Prepares and reviews title commitment(s)/pro forma(s), lender closing instructions, and contracts.
• Prepares commercial Settlement Statements and/or Closing Disclosures and other closing documents.
• Assist in coordinating signings with parties that may require assistance.
• Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, real estate agents and attorneys.
• Ensures all disbursement related items are in TPS with appropriate document types.
• Works with Disbursement team to disburse transactions.
• Works with Recording team to ensure recording documents are properly completed.
• Monitors workflow queues and department reports to ensure timely processing of the file.
• Works collaboratively with all stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Baccalaureate degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in commercial title and closing.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• National purchase and refinance experience preferred.
• Experience utilizing ResWare or similar software preferred.
