About this role
Role Overview
As a Junior Business Development & Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for selling our IaaS and Cloud solutions.
You will grow our market by strategically targeting new prospective customers within clearly defined vertical segments and converting them into Leaseweb customers.
You will manage commercial relationships and transactions with prospective clients (new logos – small and medium-sized businesses) and then transition these customers to our internal support team.
This role is characterized by autonomy, energy, a strong sense of responsibility, excellent time-management skills and, of course, a strong commercial and relationship-oriented focus.
Requirements
Proven experience in acquiring new logos and prospecting
At least 2 years of sales experience (preferred)
A contact list that includes, as a priority, our main verticals: SaaS / Gaming & VFX / AdTech / MarTech / MSPs / AI & Big Data / e‑commerce
Experience in the technology industry is a foundation for this role; strong learning ability and a tech‑savvy profile are required
Experience with IaaS and cloud solutions is a definite advantage
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Agility to work in a constantly changing environment
A proactive, results-driven mindset, willing to put in extra effort to convert leads into revenue
Natural ability to build new business relationships (new logos)
Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential to effectively support client relationships across Canada, including Quebec
Experience in the IT partner/channel industry is an asset (30–40% of your time will be spent prospecting partners)
Ability to work with SAP
You are legally authorized to work in Canada
