Role Overview
- Lead the strategic promotion and sales of designated products within an assigned territory
- Identify and develop high-value business opportunities
- Deliver advanced product demonstrations and clinical education
- Ensure a superior customer experience
- Implement the territory sales plan to meet established goals
- Facilitate sales growth by conducting training for physicians, nurses, and technologists
- Provide product technical support in an Operating Room and Interventional suite environment
- Conduct strategic territory management and analysis
- Develop key opinion leaders
- Account for all territory expenses and materials
- Review current literature for new developments within the healthcare field
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus
- Registered Technologist (RT) Certificate plus 5 years of direct sales experience in a cath lab setting accepted in lieu of degree
- 3+ years sales experience with proven track record of exceeding sales goals, preferably in medical device sales
- Medical experience in the interventional cardiology or radiology setting, strongly preferred
- Strong clinical skills are a plus
- Proven ability to interact with different specialties within a hospital
- Self-directed, able to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently
- Strong problem solving/analytical skills and effective presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and computer technology including iPhone and iPad platforms
