About this role

Plan, coordinate and implement our IT projects.
Work closely with the Development, Service & Support teams.
Design, configure and install hardware and software in the company’s own city-redundant data centers based on automation concepts.
Install, configure and maintain servers, services and applications running on Linux.
Perform updates, patches and release upgrades.
Implement hardening measures and deploy countermeasures against common attack patterns.
Ensure device compliance.
Ticket management and providing assistance for queries from our laboratories (2nd-level).

Successfully completed degree in IT or a comparable vocational qualification with an IT focus.
Professional experience in IT customer support, administration and monitoring.
Deep understanding of Linux systems, Docker, Ansible and GitLab.
Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMware, Nutanix).
Experience in defining and implementing security concepts.
Desirable: firewalling, databases, CI/CD, ISMS, BCMS.
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
