Assist or lead studies or alternatives analyses for thickening and dewatering projects.
Preparing engineering drawings, calculations, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), specifications, and technical reports for thickening and dewatering projects.
Work with drafters and designers and coordinate with other disciplines to complete construction documents.
Manage design tasks as a process mechanical task lead on large projects or a design manager on small to medium sized projects with support from subject matter experts (SMEs).
Occasional site visits during various project phases may include tasks such as equipment evaluation, process testing and troubleshooting, construction inspection and observations, and other types of fieldwork.
Perform office services during construction on projects designed, including submittal reviews, responses to requests for information, and other construction-related office engineering work.
Check performance and/or conformity with design drawings and specifications through field inspection, equipment start-up, and process testing during the construction of projects.
Requirements
B.S. degree in Civil, Chemical, Sanitary, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of similar experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook, Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience in the planning, design and construction of thickening and/or dewatering projects.
Task design lead experience.
Experience designing thickening and dewatering projects and preparing construction documents including drawings, P&IDs, specifications, control narratives, technical memoranda, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents.
Strong aptitude for researching and solving technical problems.
Strong project or task management skills.
Successful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations experience.
