Perform field service activities on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and associated equipment from installation/commissioning through warranty and long-term O&M support.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, support troubleshooting and upgrades.
Own availability and service-level commitments (SLAs) for assigned sites during service activities.
Provide remote technical support and basic troubleshooting assistance using virtual tools.
Utilize CMMS and digital service platforms to complete work orders, track issues, and document service activities.
Work collaboratively with Senior FSEs, Service Engineering, site teams, and authorized service providers.
Requirements
B.S. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical, power, renewable energy EPC, or O&M environments
Fundamental knowledge of electrical testing and measurement equipment
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
Experience supporting hardware and software troubleshooting activities
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
Exposure to energy storage systems, power conversion systems, or related electrical equipment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Willingness to travel up to 50%
