The Senior Sales Operations & Support Manager is responsible for optimizing the operational and financial functions that support the Sales team, driving sales performance, productivity, and effectiveness.
This role oversees the administration of systems and processes critical to sales, including reporting, forecasting, KPI tracking, customer database management, and technology implementation.
This role will have some accounts assigned to maintain as the responsible Sales Support Manager.
The Manager will also collaborate across departments, improve processes, and provide insights that help the Sales team make data-driven decisions.
Additionally, this role includes ownership of customer pricing, MAP protection customer onboarding, and key sales reporting.
Oversee All Sales Operations functions including EDI management, Salsify product database management, and Wiser MAP pricing enforcement.
Sales Support Team Management, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all responsibilities of that role.
Oversee order book maintenance, ensuring accurate pricing and order fulfillment.
Regular maintenance of Credits and Rebills.
Cross-functional Collaboration to align resources and ensure effective sales initiatives.
Data Integrity and Customer pricing audits.
Oversee Daily and Monthly Sales reports, forecasting, and order book accuracy improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in building and scaling Sales Operations in a high-growth environment.
Experience working with retailers/e-tailers in a hard goods sector (domestic and international).
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and sales performance tracking.
Experience with B2B sales platforms such as NuOrder.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Navision) and product catalog tools (e.g., Salsify).
Advanced Excel skills and experience creating and interpreting sales metrics and reports.
Expertise in managing sales operations processes, including forecasting, performance tracking, and database management.
Solid understanding of MAP compliance and brand protection best practices.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of diplomacy.
Ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable manner to senior leadership.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational risks and opportunities.
Proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented, with a strong customer service mindset.
