Role Overview
- Manages and implements large complex actuarial studies and pricing strategies
- Provides consultation to Underwriting Partners
- Builds relationships with peers and business partners to influence pricing strategy
- Works with senior management on pricing strategies
- Monitors profitability and trends for Umbrella and Excess Casualty
- Produces technical actuarial analyses and reports
- Delivers findings presentations to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- Typically a minimum of ten years of related work experience
- Typically has attained Fellowship accreditation (FCAS)
- Senior level knowledge of actuarial principles and industry issues
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to exercise professional judgement
- Solid project management skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
