Role Overview
- Conduct audits in accordance with prescribed procedures
- Develop detailed audit plans, addressing potential challenges
- Assign sections of audits to junior staff
- Monitor project progress, managing budgets and deadlines effectively
- Conduct final analytical reviews and oversee the completion of audit files
- Draft client correspondence related to audits and financial statements
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with practice experience
- 2-3 years of post-qualification auditing experience
- Strong audit analysis and planning skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ideally CaseWare
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Client-focused mindset with commercial awareness
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
