Role Overview
Define product strategy, translating it into prioritized OKRs and a roadmap
Present and promote your product strategy across the company to many audiences, from technical to executive-level leadership
Collaborate across product teams, partner orgs, and key stakeholders to identify challenges and deliver effective solutions that are valuable, viable, feasible and work for Autodesk’s business
Track and optimize solutions post-launch to ensure they deliver the expected impact
Build empathy with product teams onboarding to Product Access services, identifying friction in the process, and proposing solutions to simplify and streamline their integrations
Contribute to the product team a deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our products
Track industry trends and the competitive landscape
Influence product teams, senior leaders, and stakeholders through storytelling, incorporating qualitative and quantitative data to craft clear, compelling stories about who my product is for, what problems it solves for them, and why it's important to our business
Help develop product culture within the broader organization, including mentoring more junior product managers and driving process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on platform
Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
Demonstrated curiosity about—and use—of AI tools to make you and your team more effective at product development
Applicants with 8+ years of product development experience in roles like engineering, developer advocacy, data analysis, data engineering, customer support, experience design and/or data science are welcome to apply if part of that time was in a product management role.
Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
