Implement region/corporate sales strategy to increase market share for all our product and service offerings, expand existing business relationships, and coordinate district/branch sales activities within the assigned region
Provide guidance and leadership on sales rep performance improvement; suggest sales rep additions or realignment based on OEC, market conditions, and accounts, as necessary
Assist in recruitment, training and development of sales team in the region
Work closely with region Finance Director to analyze strategic account profitability, evaluate all region account sales results and identify improvement opportunities
Work together with field management to identify new product opportunities, develop new markets, understand market trends, competition and other matters affecting the region’s profitability
Develop strategies for sales promotions, blitzes, open houses, grand openings, and other customer relationship building events which drive revenue and profitability, and implement those strategies with field management
Supervise Strategic Account Managers in region, working closely with RSMD of other region business units, to ensure strategic accounts have a single point of contact and receive superior customer service and needs are met by all of the Company’s business units
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years successful outside sales and sales management experience, with a strong customer focus; large revenue account management experience
Ability to work collaboratively across several business units for the benefit of the company
Strong influencing, negotiation, presentation and communication skills to interact with large account decision makers and leaders
Strong leadership, coaching and overall supervisory skills to motivate high level of performance
Strong business acumen, high level of reasoning and analytical skills to make decisions impacting profitable region and company sales
Independent worker and self-starter
Basic Microsoft office skills for reporting purposes; knowledge of dodge reports, sales force automation, and other technology performance resources for sales reps
