Review energy usage on a daily basis for the facility and provide guidance, best practices, and modifications of current operations.
Mentor the owner on energy strategies.
Manage the Central Energy Plant Operation and Maintenance including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers.
Manage the Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the CEP.
Work with the operators to ensure the plant operates efficiently.
Perform ongoing training of the Plant Operators.
Develop and maintain the Plant Operating Manual.
Assist the EPC team with the coordination of engineering, procurement, and construction activities with OMC operations.
Coordinate on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with remote support services team.
Responsible for managing a single team or multiple teams consisting of one or more Asset Managers.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in managing multiple sites or in a central plant
Well versed in building codes and associated standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
4 year Mechanical Engineering degree (ABET Accredited Program) preferred
PE preferred or FE working towards obtaining PE
Travel Requirements: 10-25% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
