Managing Director, M&A Strategic Advisory

Role Overview

• Lead and expand advisory and capital raising activities
• Oversee origination and participation in diverse transactions
• Consult with insurers, capital providers, and internal leaders
• Act as lead technical advisory colleague on M&A discussions
• Develop understanding of clients’ strategic priorities
• Manage regulatory environments and licensing restrictions
• Lead and mentor advisory teams in London and New York
• Assess, structure, and execute M&A and capital raising transactions
• Project manage third-party service providers
• Support colleagues on ILS transactions and legacy solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 15+ years actuarial or insurance accounting or complex insurance product management experience
• Engagement with insurance companies, program managers, reinsurers, and investment banks
• Actuarial accreditation or other insurance professional designation a benefit
