About this role

Perform structural analysis and design of substation steel and concrete elements
Prepare calculations and sealed design deliverables
Develop construction drawings and specifications
Review shop drawings
Apply relevant codes and standards (ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NESC/IEEE as applicable)
Use industry software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA/SAP2000, AutoCAD/MicroStation/Revit)
Coordinate closely with internal project managers, electrical engineers, contractors, and utility clients to support timely, constructible designs.
Occasional site visits and construction support

5-10 years of experience in Structural Engineering or related structural design field
Knowledge of Structural design requirements and standards (ASCE 7, ASCE 113, IBC, etc.)
BSCE degree from an accredited college or university
PE license is highly preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Team Player: Works well as a member of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to interpret written/documented specifications and apply them to engineering design.
