Advising and supporting managers and employees on all legal and personnel-related matters at national and international levels
Carrying out generalist HR work in compliance with local legal and operational regulations and policies
Close cooperation with the works council and advising management on co-determination matters in accordance with legal requirements, in particular the German Works Constitution Act (BetrVG)
Managing the full employee lifecycle including all upstream and downstream processes both nationally and internationally
Responsibility for payroll for the German office and ensuring a smooth payroll process
Interaction and correspondence with external HR service providers, social security authorities and government agencies
Central point of contact for HR audits and ensuring required documentation and compliance
Administration and maintenance of the HR software Personio and ensuring accurate and up-to-date HR data
Requirements
Successfully completed degree, e.g., in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, Psychology or a comparable qualification
At least 4 years of professional experience in operational, strategic and generalist HR in a dynamic environment, ideally with international exposure
Good knowledge of labor law as well as tax, social security and works council law
Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner when dealing with various stakeholders
High intercultural sensitivity combined with empathy and an appreciative approach to employees and managers
Willingness to take on challenges and the ability to drive topics forward in a solution-oriented manner and implement decisions
Independent, structured working style with strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality
Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with HR software solutions, ideally Personio
