Role Overview
- Ensure accuracy of General Ledger entries in line with international (IFRS) and local accounting standards
- Prepare and validate financial data for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
- Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting issues
- Record and review transactions across the profit and loss statement and balance sheet
- Analyze accounting entries and resolve open items with relevant stakeholders
- Support financial data consolidation and reporting processes
- Prepare cash flow reports and statutory financial statements
- Act as a key expert in an accounting area (e.g. general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany, cash and bank)
- Support analysis, resolve process issues, and contribute to ongoing projects
- Build strong relationships with finance teams and business stakeholders
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive solutions to enhance performance
- Participating in finance transformation projects that leverage automation and AI driven tools
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different stakeholders
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Comfort working in an international environment
- An interest in digital tooling, automation, and improving processes
- AI proven experience will be considered as an advantage
