Processing of all employee lifecycle transitions
Assist in developing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.
Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Support performance appraisal processes, provide feedback, and assist in development and improvement plans.
Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and promote employee development.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate compensation and resolve payroll-related queries.
Generate HR reports, analyze data, and provide insights to inform HR decisions.
Requirements
A demonstrated commitment to PPGNY’s mission related to bodily autonomy, health equity, and gender and racial justice
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, (liberal arts) or a related field
A demonstrated commitment to learning about and enhancing practices related to racial equity and its impact on healthcare systems
3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role that includes responsibility for employee relations
Proficiency in (Microsoft office 365) and HRIS systems. ADP, Paycom, and Workday experience a plus
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Strong relationship building and communication skills, including an ability to work and build trust across cultural differences related to race, class, age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin and ability; and to reflect on one’s personal identity with humility.
