Define and execute a global liquidity acquisition and retention strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives and product roadmap.
Set and deliver against quarterly and annual revenue, volume, and spread targets tied to liquidity provider activity.
Build and lead a high-performing account management team across multiple regions; establish KPIs, workflows, and a culture of accountability.
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of liquidity provider relationships — from prospecting and onboarding through to ongoing optimization and expansion.
Negotiate commercial terms, fee structures, and SLAs with Tier-1 and Tier-2 market makers, OTC desks, and algorithmic trading firms.
Monitor and analyze liquidity quality metrics (spread, depth, fill rates) and work with providers to continuously improve execution performance.
Partner closely with Trading, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, API integration, and regulatory alignment.
Serve as the internal voice of the liquidity provider — advocating for platform improvements, new trading pairs, and infrastructure upgrades that attract and retain top-tier flow.
Collaborate with the Institutional Sales and OTC teams to deliver a unified client experience for high-value counterparties.
Maintain deep expertise in global market microstructure, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics across centralized and decentralized venues.
Represent the company at industry conferences, institutional roundtables, and partner events to strengthen brand positioning and expand the partner pipeline.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in institutional sales, liquidity management, prime brokerage, or market-making — with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Demonstrable track record of onboarding and managing relationships with institutional liquidity providers, market makers, or prime brokerage clients.
Deep understanding of order book dynamics, market microstructure, FIX/API connectivity, and exchange infrastructure.
Strong existing network across institutional trading firms, market makers, OTC desks, and/or traditional finance counterparties.
Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage multi-stakeholder relationships at C-suite level.
Exceptional analytical skills — comfortable working with trading data, liquidity metrics, and P&L attribution.
Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions (APAC, EMEA, Americas) with sensitivity to regional regulatory environments.
