Technical customer support: Responding to inquiries about digital locking systems (e.g., electronic locks, relays, door hardware), configuring systems via phone or remote support, and diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
System analysis and troubleshooting: Analyzing technical problems arising from the interaction of IT components and locking technology, and supporting integration into existing IT and building management infrastructures.
Software support: Operating and supporting administration software for digital locking systems, including performing updates and maintenance.
Customer consulting and training: Advising on technical capabilities and supporting end users and administrators in the use of digital locking technology.
Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation and support tickets, and reporting recurring issues to development teams.
Cross-department collaboration: Close cooperation with Sales, Development and Product Management to incorporate customer feedback and support testing phases of new products.
Requirements
Completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable technical qualification.
Initial professional experience in technical support or customer hotline/service.
Confident use of common IT systems and documentation tools; MCSA certification is an advantage.
Very good German and English skills for international communication.
Analytical thinking and a structured way of working.
