Role Overview
Cultivating strong scientific relationships with external experts
Delivering clinical and scientific insights
Serving as a strategic partner to both internal teams and the broader medical community
Building trusted partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
Facilitating scientific exchange
Collaborating cross-functionally to advance internal initiatives
Providing healthcare professionals (HCP) appropriate education and information to improve patient outcomes
Shaping and driving medical affairs tactics and operations from the ground up
Supporting Clinical Development by appropriately assisting with site and investigator identification, study awareness, and education
Requirements
Advanced degree required (MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs
Prior experience as an MSL is required; rare disease experience is a plus
Background in endocrinology, nephrology, or genetics
Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills
Ability to ideate and execute strategy quickly and independently
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities
Self-driven with high emotional intelligence and professional maturity
Ability to comply with all internal policies and external regulations, including those related to travel, expenses, and compliance
Travel required: ~60% travel, including territory field visits and U.S.-based medical conferences
