Budget Assistant – FP&A

Role Overview

• Consolidate, organize and update financial and budget databases;
• Assist in the preparation and updating of management reports and controls;
• Support the collection, verification and consolidation of information from internal departments;
• Support the calculation and control of costs and expenses;
• Assist in classifying costs and expenses by cost center;
• Support the preparation, monitoring and revisions of the budget;
• Support variance analyses between actual results and budgeted figures;
• Keep systems, controls and financial information histories organized and up to date;
• Participate in internal work meetings with your immediate supervisor and other team members, exchanging information necessary to maintain the department's workflows.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related fields;
• Preferred experience in areas such as Finance, Costing, Budgeting or Controllership;
• Basic understanding of the income statement (DRE) and managerial accounting;
• Ability to work with financial data and consolidated information;
• Basic financial math;
• Intermediate Excel;
• Intermediate English preferred;
• Availability for a 12-month employment contract (with possibility of extension).
