The Camp Manager will be responsible for the development of the operational team and hourly employees.
The Camp Manager will interact daily with the client and the client’s employees.
This individual will be focused on ensuring operational excellence.
Plan, manage, and oversee multiple contracted services for a single client while meeting operational and financial objectives, client expectations, and customer needs.
Ensure the safe delivery of high-quality culinary and hospitality services in a remote environment.
Accountable for fiscal management, including operational forecasts, food and labor targets, and cost controls.
Motivate, train, and supervise hourly staff and supervisors on key programs such as Customer Service, Culinary Excellence, and Waste Management.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of management/leadership experience, preferably in remote camps, hotel operations, or the hospitality sector.
Business Diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution is an asset.
Experience working with Indigenous communities/partners.
Advanced Food Safety certifications are mandatory.
First Aid Certification is an asset.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Excellent communication skills in French and English, as some of our clients are English‑speaking.
Ability to work effectively both independently and with supervision.
Strong prioritization and time‑management skills.
