Support the operational efficiency of ICMP’s Syria/MENA Program by building a strategic talent pipeline
Advise NCMP on staffing strategy, aligning recruitment practices with international standards
Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for the Syria Program including scheduling interviews and providing feedback to candidates
Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and conduct intensive intake meetings to define technical requirements
Identify and engage niche technical profiles within local and the MENA region
Conduct talent gap analyses and develop long-term staffing plans
Develop and maintain monthly talent acquisition reports tracking critical metrics
Audit current workflows and implement a streamlined process prioritizing speed, efficiency, and candidate experience
Work closely with the HR team to ensure Syria's staffing aligns with international standards
Requirements
A secondary degree in Talent Acquisition/Management, Human Resources, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant professional experience in talent acquisition, including executive search and headhunting
Previous experience working within international organizations and field-based teams
Deep understanding of the MENA labor market and the NGO/International Organization landscape
Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS
Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
A commercial mindset and the ability to drive recruitment as a strategic, business-critical function
A high level of cultural diplomacy
Ability to maintain effectiveness and resilience in high-risk, or hostile environments, both mentally and physically
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Power Point
Proven ability to interact positively with colleagues regardless of culture, nationality or gender
Ability to travel at short notice and to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Commitment to the underlying objective of helping the authorities and families of the missing to account for missing persons in an impartial and transparent manner
Willingness and ability to work and live in hardship conditions with limited infrastructure and personal privacy
The candidate must be a Syrian national and able to work and live in Syria.
