Serve as the lead point of contact responding to RFPs as well as transactional account activity
Develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key stakeholders to scale existing accounts
Prepare and present capabilities presentations and platform walkthroughs to prospects and partners, both virtually and in-person
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of existing business and new partnership opportunities through forecasting and tracking key account and territory metrics with up-to-date CRM activity
Meet and exceed assigned sales quota
Work closely with cross-functional internal teams including Customer Success Managers and Project Success teams to improve the entire customer experience
Collaborate with Sales Director to recommend and build strategic territory and account plans
Travel within the territory to clients, prospects, and industry conferences (50-75% travel)
Requirements
5+ years of Account Management or Sales experience directly tied to generating revenue
Experience in Business Development, preferably in a Media, Advertising or Market Research environment
Keen knowledge of the Media or Advertising space, such as emerging channels, industry trends, the purchase funnel, and the importance of measurement throughout
Strong aptitude for technology, with the ability to use, demonstrate, and speak about new developments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships with clients at all levels of an organization including senior executives
Ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
Effective negotiation and deal-closing skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team engaging across various corporate functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Product Management)
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting
