Ensure all current and future contracts are fully compliant with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
Support capture efforts across the business by participating in proposal development and reviews.
Review complex Prime Contractor and U.S. DoD proposals for compliance with requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ)
Provide oversight of assigned contractual negotiations.
Prepare and present contractual terms and conditions analyses to management.
Provide data and support for DCMA/DCAA inquiries and audits.
Lead efforts to evaluate and improve existing processes and fill process gaps with appropriate documentation.
Communicate results, contractual risks, and mitigation alternatives concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Travel up to 25% annually, both domestically and internationally.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline with 13+ years of Contracts experience, or a Master's degree or JD with 11+ years of experience.
Expert knowledge of FAR and DFARS, with working knowledge of CAS.
Ability to contribute to strategy development and lead strategic initiatives supporting functional and business objectives.
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, if required.
Professional certifications such as CCM, CFCM, or CPCM.
Extensive experience negotiating multi-million-dollar defense contracts with the U.S. Government, international governments, and major Defense/Aerospace contractors.
Experience with U.S. Navy/Marine Corps and U.S. Army contracts is highly desirable.
