Act as the primary Payments SME for the Sales organization, assisting with the negotiation and positioning of Toast’s product offerings for MME prospects.
Perform complex payments data analyses to drive informed pricing decisions and manage related financial data sets.
Lead cross-functional strategic projects to improve operational processes and optimize Toast’s payments infrastructure for scale.
Manage high-level customer interactions and resolve complex payments inquiries to ensure a seamless merchant experience.
Act as a mentor and resource for junior team members, fostering technical growth and best practices within the team.
Monitor and maintain internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and accurate support for all internal stakeholders.
Partner with Sales Enablement to develop and deliver educational content regarding Toast’s payments solutions and market positioning.
Utilize Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL on a daily basis to manage workflows, analyze performance, and present findings to leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in an operational or analytical position.
Advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL; ability to build and interpret complex financial models.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payment concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
