Analyze, debug, & root cause issues found within Broadcom’s PCIe switch and retimer products
Work with OEM and Cloud customers to properly integrate Broadcom’s PCIe switch and retimer products into GP-GPUs, AI/ML platforms, storage servers and custom designs
Help and guide customers through the design process including architecture reviews, schematic reviews, design-in support and training customers on product features
Establish firm relationships with the customers and internally to help advocate for new product features and expediting fixes for defects
Train customers in the tools, software, and applications needed to implement PCIe switch/retimer designs
Provide on-site customer support to help with training and the debug of critical issues
Occasional travel expected
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or related field of study
Master’s degree in engineering is preferred
Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with Cloud service providers and server OEM customers to design complex PCIe based products for Server, storage, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence applications
Hands-on, thorough knowledge of high-speed protocols like PCIe
Silicon bring-up and debug experience in customer systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to provide clear and condensed notes and actions
Customer-oriented, goal-driven, self-motivated, must be able to work independently
Capable of maintaining focus in an ever changing environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to communicate technical solutions to customers and internal teams
