Role Overview
- Defend lawsuits filed in Georgia courts
- Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda
- Render opinions on liability, damages, and value
- Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery including depositions and examinations
Requirements
- 2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury
- Juris Doctor degree
- Admission to the Georgia bar
- Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in Georgia
- Ability to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, and management meetings
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to learn and apply complex technical and procedural information
