Ensure accurate calculation of indirect taxes, account reconciliation, and compliance with tax obligations.
Correct application of current tax legislation.
Analyze fiscal processes and provide support to internal areas, contributing to compliance, risk mitigation, and the company’s operational efficiency.
Develop and improve workflows and procedures through critical analysis of existing processes.
Perform calculation and reconciliation of indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS and withheld taxes).
Prepare and file ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, EFD-Contribuições, GIA, DCTF) according to legal schedules.
Control and recognize special tax credits.
Provide internal technical guidance to business units and less experienced colleagues.
Monitor and implement changes in tax legislation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Experience in calculating indirect taxes, reconciling tax accounts, supporting the preparation of ancillary obligations, and assisting with tax audits.
Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Knowledge of SAP and Tax On.
Familiarity with the new Tax Reform.
