About this role
Role Overview
Maintain and maximize profitable relationships with personal lines clients
Grow the book of business through new client sales
Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects
Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on existing client needs
Actively prospect round accounts, solicit increases in client coverage and network for new clients
Process quotes and bind insurance coverage
Educate clients on coverages and rates
Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention
Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved
Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings to improve knowledge and performance
Requirements
Hold the insurance license required by your state
Minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience
Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
Proven track record of business-to-business sales success
Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Outstanding organizational skills with ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision
Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems
Excellent time management skills
