Role Overview
- Implements components of established care plan utilizing clinical techniques and amassed skill to provide treatment.
- Critically observes patients during treatment to assess patient's tolerance and response.
- Adapts plan of care to attain desired functional outcome with therapists' input/awareness.
- Instructs and educates patients and families in appropriate exercise and self-care management.
- Maintains work area. Checks and stores equipment after use.
Requirements
- Required Associate's Degree
- 1 year Physical Therapy Preferred
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS)
- American Heart Association
