Full end-to-end responsibility for the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP and HGB (German Commercial Code) for defined entities, including quality assurance, documentation and reconciliation of complex matters
Deep technical expertise in complex accounting and valuation topics (provisions including restructuring, deferred taxes, inventory valuation, revenue recognition)
Overall responsibility for the accounting of company pension plans (defined benefit / defined contribution, DB/DC)

Completed commercial vocational training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and taxation
At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting as a financial accountant in an internationally operating company, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of accounting under HGB and US GAAP/IFRS
Very good user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Extensive SAP knowledge in FI / CO / AA / MM modules
Excellent written and spoken German and English
