About this role
Role Overview
Lead enterprise financial reporting outcomes by owning the day to day operations, configuration, and security of the Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), including metadata maintenance, data integration and loading, financial statement preparation support, business rule troubleshooting, and user provisioning to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Guide high‑impact, enterprise finance transformation initiatives with significant visibility, complexity, and cross‑functional stakeholder engagement.
Close Cycle Support: Support quarterly and annual close cycles by running consolidation, currency translation, and elimination rules.
Security & User Management: Provision users, assign roles, and maintain security across the EPM environment.
Data Integration & Quality: Manage data loads, mapping, and validations between GL/ERP systems and FCCS.
Process Improvement: Optimize Business Rules, Calc Manager scripts, and Task Manager processes to speed up consolidation.
Data Management & Integration: Design and maintain integrations between Oracle FCCS and other enterprise systems (like ERP or General Ledger) using tools like Data Management EPM Automate, and Data Exchange.
Application Maintenance: Execute regular system updates and patches in alignment with Oracle’s release schedule and perform system health checks.
Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve application issues (e.g., consolidation errors, data discrepancies, and reporting issues), business rule failures, and performance bottlenecks, especially during peak close periods.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure the environment remains SOX-compliant by maintaining proper audit logs and documentation for all configuration changes.
Pioneer innovation in financial processes and system design.
Cultivate team growth and provide mentorship to junior staff in strategic approaches.
Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making and oversee critical project decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
12+ years of Comprehensive experience and mastery in strategic planning with expertise in overseeing and managing large-scale finance transformation projects and initiatives requiring high-impact decisions
Extensive knowledge of finance systems to integrate innovative process solutions, specifically 4+ years of direct experience administering Oracle EPM Cloud applications (FCCS).
