Act as the primary 3D CAD designer for core components of rotating electrical machines (REM), including generators, working closely with interdisciplinary R&D teams
Design, develop and optimize active parts (magnetic and electrically relevant components), including salient poles, high-voltage windings and stator/rotor cores, based on engineering input from electromagnetics, insulation, mechanical and ventilation experts
Create precise geometric models to support advanced numerical simulations (CFD/CHT and FE) performed by calculation/analysis engineers
Prepare high-quality 3D models, technical drawings and complete bills of materials (BOMs) for components used in project developments, prototypes and test facilities
Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning teams to ensure robust, manufacturable and well-integrated component designs
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards, methods and tools
