Coach and develop sales representatives to drive revenue within the region
Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
Meet planned sales goals and increase revenue within the region
Set individual sales targets with the sales team
Track sales goals and report results to stakeholders
Oversee sales team activities and performance
Coordinate with marketing on lead generation
Monitor competition for opportunities or trends in the market and develop action plans for growth
Implement Sales Training Programs for Outside Sales Representatives
Motivate, coach and mentor the sales team
Manage and develop specific key or assigned accounts
Promote organization and products
Manage specific projects on an as-needed basis to drive revenue
Identify and develop opportunities with specific customers or market segments
Develop sales presentations and coach OSRs on effective presentation skills
Travel to various job sites for inspections and presentations
Comply with company safety requirements and train sales representatives on safety procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
At least 8 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years leading a sales team
Experience in customer relationship management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to providing great customer service
Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers
Must cultivate curiosity and seek to improve their knowledge
