Own the end-to-end planning and execution of Ideagen's external event calendar across APAC, including trade shows, industry conferences, customer roundtables, webinars, and hosted brand events
Partner with the marketing and sales teams to ensure events are strategically aligned to pipeline and brand awareness goals
Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, venue sourcing, and logistics with precision and accountability
Develop compelling event experiences that reflect Ideagen's brand identity and resonate with target audiences
Coordinate pre-event promotion, on-the-day delivery, and post-event follow-up including lead capture and CRM handover
Track and report on event ROI, including pipeline contribution, leads generated, and brand engagement metrics
Identify new event opportunities and industry forums that would increase Ideagen's visibility with key buyer personas
Lead the planning and delivery of Ideagen's annual all-employee event (approximately 300+ people, Melbourne or Sydney, across 2 days) — from concept and theme through to full on-site coordination
Coordinate the Sales & Marketing Kickoff and other team or business unit events, ensuring they are energising, purposeful, and operationally smooth
Support People & Culture and leadership teams in designing team offsites, recognition events, and ad hoc internal activations that reinforce our culture and values
Manage internal event logistics including venue sourcing, AV, catering, travel coordination, and communications
Gather and act on feedback to continuously improve the internal events experience
Requirements
3+ years’ experience running events, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or professional services
Hands‑on experience delivering external marketing events like trade shows and customer sessions
Exposure to planning or supporting larger internal events
Comfortable managing a few moving pieces and timelines at once
Experience working with budgets, venues, and suppliers
Enjoys collaborating with marketing and sales teams
Familiar with CRM or marketing tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
A clear communicator who enjoys bringing ideas to life in writing and conversation.
