Supporting the business units Welded and Circular Technologies and Cryogenic Technologies in the Energy Division
Ensuring compliance, enabling strategic growth, and managing business risks from a legal perspective
Providing legal support in all aspects of sales, distribution, development, intellectual property rights, product liability, regulatory requirements, and handling of claims and litigations
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex supply, service and/or purchase contracts and bids on a global level
Supporting R&D workstreams and projects, including funding aspects and intellectual property protection
Providing support in various compliance areas such as fair competition, anti-bribery and anti-corruption and export control and sanctions
Supporting digital transformation and offerings, including advising on software licenses, connected products and related contracts and risks
Cooperating closely with regional in-house legal counsels and central support functions
Actively participating in and implementing continuous improvement of related policies and processes
Educating business colleagues in commercial contracts, corporate governance, and compliance areas
Managing and coordinating disputes and litigations
Managing external legal advisors

Highly skilled qualified lawyer with a law degree from a reputable university within EU
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as in-house counsel or attorney at leading law firm, in an international setting
Experience in drafting, negotiating, and litigating international commercial contracts, including complex project contracts and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts
Experience in managing distribution and agent contracts
Familiar with intellectual property matters, insurance requirements and clauses, and product liability regulation from a manufacturing perspective
Knowledge from relevant industries and applications is a success factor
Work experience related to digital transformation, digital content and software licensing is a merit
Excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing
Knowledge in French is a great advantage
