Operations Supervisor

Role Overview

• Supervise labor management and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting, and customer communication activities
• Conduct hiring, training, performance appraisals, and plans daily work
• Ensure compliance with company service and cost objectives
• Manage operations to achieve productivity and service goals
• Provide direction to Human Resources for hiring and training programs
• Assist in evaluating performance and recommending promotions or wage increases

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational skills
• Effective communication skills, written and oral
• Strong leadership and supervision capabilities
