Role Overview
Proactively hunt for new business opportunities.
Identify, qualify, and secure new customers through research, outreach, and market engagement.
Build tailored value propositions based on customer needs.
Drive the full sales cycle
from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure.
Ensure a smooth handover of new accounts to operations and account management teams.
Monitor customer performance during the onboarding period and address any challenges early.
Represent Maersk at industry events, trade fairs, and customer forums to expand your network.
Share market insights with product and marketing teams to strengthen our customer offerings.
Support the expansion of Maersk’s presence within key industry verticals.
Requirements
Sales experience in freight forwarding business and knowledge of the market
High energy, strong motivation, and a true hunter mentality
someone excited to chase new opportunities.
Confidence in approaching new customers and building early relationships.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A proactive mindset, resilience, and the ability to perform in a competitive environment.
