Role Overview
- Handling inquiries and negotiating prices and delivery schedules
- Placing orders and comparing quotations
- Responsible for supplier selection, processing and evaluation
- Conducting annual negotiations with suppliers
- Continuous optimization through performance monitoring
- Ensuring long-term and fair collaboration
- Ongoing market monitoring for new products and price developments
- Preparing proposals for stocking, substitution and product sell-off
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably in a senior role
- Completed training or degree in business administration or a comparable field
- Strong technical aptitude and interest in technical processes and products
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
- Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across different organizational levels
- Flexible and willing to travel for business (approximately 10%)
